"Good sturdy bag. I have had no issues with construction. It's sturdy construction doesn't give it a lot of give, so I can fit my laptop, portfolio, and a few files folders. This is as much as I need so it works great for me, but if you carry around a lot of paper, this doesn't expand to accommodate a lot of extra."

"In terms of style, the bag appears a bit like a doctor's case (when they used to make house calls). This is due, I believe, to the triangular nature of the shape - broader at the bottom, narrowing at the top, and also, the clasps and other hardware. The look is conventional and a bit conservative The leather is good quality (smells great), but is not at the level of other makers such as Coach, etc.. Of course, the price of this bag is much lower - makes sense that the leather quality is a 7 or 8, and not a 10. Still good, though! The bag does stand up on it's own - doesn't fall over when sitting (a huge plus!). The interior organization is OK - no problems, but minimal. 4 main compartments; one zippered. Not a lot of extra space - but enough for the basics of daily travel to/from the office. Laptop area is well-padded, but too large for my 13" MacBook. Not a big issue, however. Overall a quality bag at a descent price. Not an incredible value, but still a fair price. For my taste, I wish it were a little more hip - a little less conservative (I'm 34, male and a professional - but you know, the bag might be a little middle-aged...?). Overall, I'm happy to have it, though I might shop more in the future."

"The good: * Roomy: There's plenty of room for a laptop, folders, pens, and even a book or two. * Good looks: I've received many compliments about the bag's appearance. The not-so-good: * Large: It may be too big for some, especially women like me. * Weight: There's no way to travel "light" with this bag. Consider this when lugging it onto a crowded subway on a hot, humid summer day. * Shoulder strap: I don't like how it connects to hooks on the flap of the bag, as opposed to the sides. I worry that the straps and/or bag flap will break one day. * Squeak, squeak: The metal attaching the shouder strap to the bag flap is such that it squeaks every time the bag moves while on the shoulder. Sounds like a mouse. * Leather: The bag is pretty, but it's also sensitive to nicks and scratches, especially around the bottom corners and the flap of the bag. And they're not the kinds of scratches that look good on an "aged" bag. Overall conclusion: It's pretty good. I'd buy it again (probably) if it were cheaper. But maybe I'd downgrade to a smaller bag."

"I wish it were about two inches longer, so that it would more easily fit legal sized files. Also for the clasp to be adjustable so that when it is necessary to fit more files (or a laptop computer) into the case, the clasp can still be closed, which is impossible to do with how the clasp is now constructued."

"I bought this for my husband who is a surgeon. It is fine for traveling, but not polished enough to be a bag used daily by a proessional. The leather is so-so in appearance, and the stitching appears coarse. It fits his large computer however."

"I made this purchase for my husband who's in the legal field and he absolutely loved it. The spacing/size suited him to a tee since he has just about everything that those compartments were made for. The cowhide is fabulous and the professional look was just what he was looking for."

"Great all round briefcase. Only complaint - and a minor one at that - is the shoulder strap tends to squeak while walking."

"Out of all the leather briefcases that I have owned, this one is clearly the best. In terms of its appearance, durability and its ability to carry my 17" Macbook pro. It fits in very nicely with a secure fit and protection. I would recommend this briefcase for anyone who uses a big notebook and wants additional room for the other necessities."

"Looks polished and professional for a messenger type bag. Can be set down without falling over. The case has a pretty nice shoulder stap that is large and lightly padded. Cons would be that the size of the case is not adjustable so there is no putting lunch in this bag with a computer. I have a planner, computer, palm, and ipod in mine. Not enough room for laptop cords with everything else. All in all, I like the bag and am suprised at it's durability. Several people have commented on how nice it looks while on appointments."
