"The Large size is still a bit tight to hold full-size 10x43 roof prism binoculars which measure 7x5x2.5 inches along with their strap - it could us another half-inch to an inch or so in all dimensions. The shoulder strap is fine but it lacks a waist strap which would make it more versatile - I have several other bags that have both and it's nice to have the choice. Also for about 1/3 the price I found a good quality nylon bag on eBay that is a great fit with a zipper closure for the main large compartment, and although it has only a waist strap it fits my binoculars better - I will probably end up using the cheaper one more!"

"Originally purchased this item to house a Nikon D3100 Camera and an additional lens, but there is no way that this pack would be able to accommodate that load. It is now being used as a disc golf bag that houses 4 to 5 discs depending on size. In conclusion this bag is not very big."

"I use this item to carry my 10X50mm binoculars plus a few small reference documents for aircraft and wildlife spotting during walks and hikes. In addition to the lightly padded main compartment, there are very handy accommodations for writing materials, papers and small booklets. The exterior is made up of a sturdy medium-weight nylon canvas material and the interior is lined with a very bright yellow nylon material that makes it very easy to spot small items even in dim light. The workmanship is excellent and the design is well thought-out. I anticipate that this case will last for several years of frequent, routine use and care. Overall, I am well pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone."

"I got this bag to haul around my GPS, cords and dash mount. The dash mount breaks down and it all fits very nicely in the bag. No sticker marks on the windshield and nothing to steal left in the car. The bag is small enough to drop into a back pack or messanger bag if need be and compact enough for shoulder carry or cross body. It's well padded interior and multiple pockets make it safe for hauling electronics. It would work for iPods and maybe an iPad as well. It is still fairly sleek even when loaded and could double as a purse or just drop your wallet and mini-brush in next to the GPS."

"Stores binoculars, small digital camera, spare batteries, tissues, small sunblock, cell phone. It is a great size and has lots of secure pockets. It has an adjustable strap and can double as a purse when travelling. A versatile light weight bag."

"Tough, well-designed, well-built! Just a little too small--Could be bigger! Although I am very happy with this smaller version, I would definitely also buy a bigger version of this."

"This is my 3rd Mountainsmith pouch, as I try to match the size to the needs of the vacation. This one is for London next month and exactly fits what I need to carry on a walkabout without being overincumbered (ie- pickpockets). Durable, somewhat expandable, and largely rainproof- this brand can handle it all & more. And, the price to value, particularily @ ebags, is very impressive."
