"The Tour FX Lumbar Photo Bag is very well thought out, and includes features unexpected for a camera bag in this price range. The top cover is double layered and includes three organizer panels. The height/depth of the main compartment can be expanded, using a zipper, by about 3 inches, thus accomodating longer lenses. There is a front panel pocket with an additional organizer, large enough for operators manuals and other items. A water bottle pouch and attachment for an additional lens case is also provided. The yellow lining provides a high-contrast background which makes usually dark-colored equipment easily visible. The belt-type suspension system has multiple adjustments, making for a very comfortable carry. The available shoulder straps are also a useful option. This purchase was my first experience with Mountainsmith photo bags, and I will consider them first for my future needs."

"Tour FX is sleeper hit for me. This bag is based on MOUNTAINSMITH TOUR. However, it is completely different. Well conceived and elaboratively designed for exclusive use as a camera bag. The camera and telephoto lens in the bag are surrounded by cushions. Also, a rain cover and a waterproof zipper protect the camera from sudden shower. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this camera bag to anyone."

"I literally just got the bag today, but I love it. It is beautifully made. I dropped in my Canon 50D, two telephoto lenses, and my flash - no problem; I still have a little room to spare. The belt is very well made, like you'd find for a backpack, and is very comfortable, even with the full load. Shoulder strap works great too. Now I got to figure out all the little pockets and what I'll stick where."

"This is exactly what my husband was wanting. A top-loading, front-wearing camera bag. He can swing it under on arm for easy walking (and the ability to see his feet in rougher terrain)."

"This is an excellent bag, especially for the recreational photographer. It has been in the back country at Yellowstone and Glacier National Park, and beside me in the car on a number of drives. Mountainsmith products are first class in design and construction. Everything is well thought out. I keep a Nikon digital SLR, standard and telephoto lenses, teleconverter and a SONY digital video camera in the well padded main compartment, batteries in the front, along with other goodies and data cards in the top where they are immediately handy (wildlife will not always oblige you while you are looking for a new memory card or fresh battery). The bag is light weight and the carrying strap and belt strap are very comfortable. I am going to pick up the optional harness so it can be worn on the chest. I already owned a combination photo bag/backpack from one of the major manufacturers which was more expensive and not nearly as useful or well made. I loved this bag so much I purchased it's big brother, also from ebags. Both of them came as advertised in brand new and perfect condition in a couple of days. Buy this bag; you'll love it."

"This camera bag satisfies my need for a more serious photo bag. It has capacity sufficient for my camera body, lenses, and the accessories I presently have on hand plus room for future additions (filter set and another lens or two). It also extends another two inches in height if I have the need. The options for shoulder strap or waist strap allow for short casual travel or longer hikes with security and comfort options. An attached end pocket is available to a water bottle and bottom cinch straps at each end can keep a jacket or a compact tripod available. Interior padding thickness is moderate enough to not use up too much space while still protecting the contents. The external body fabric is a durable synthetic and water resistant material. The yellow liner fabric helps me find items in the bottom of the compartments. The attached black nylon rain cover is very convenient to pull up over the top of the bag when needed."
