"When folded, this bag is larger and a bit heavier than I anticipated. But, it does fold quite flat, and fits well into an outside pocket on my suitcase. I'm glad I took it along on a recent week-long vacation, because I needed more room for purchases on the return trip. I used it as my carry-on bag on the way back, and it fit just fine in the overhead bin. (My bag does have an adjustable shoulder strap; even though others mentioned theirs didn't. It's not the most comfortable strap, but it works.) I also used it to contain my dirty laundry during the week, and it was nice to keep it out of sight. It took me a minute to figure out that you flip the zip pocket inside out and zip it into an outer pocket when the bag is unfolded--but it was pretty obvious once I figured it out! It takes a little work to fold it back into the small pouch, but it's doable. My bag is teal, and it's a tiny bit brighter than it looks on my screen, but it's a fun color. The nylon fabric and construction seem sturdy, and I had a lot of weight packed in my bag."
