"I bought this for my 5 year old kindergartner. It is the perfect color pink, has no characters and can hold her camelbak drink bottle on the side. I really liked that it had the strap in front to keep her bag on, which she can easily open and close. The zippers work very well and it holds everything she needs for kindergarten, not sure if it will work for 1st grade - but for now it is perfect. I hope it lasts the school year, but I really think it will! I also bought the matching luggage, which we haven't had the opportunity to use - yet!"

"It's a great size, shape, and fit for my 5 year old kindergartner. It had nice padding, the zippers are big and she's easily able to slip it on and buckle and unbuckle it in the front herself. They have a snack time in class and lunch time in the cafeteria and this backpack works great for both The zipped cooler part fits her snacks perfectly. The larger zipped part fits her folder, lunchbox and other needs. Overall, it's been just what we were looking for."
