"These backpacks are amazing! We own two. The red one and the Teal and purple one. You can fit standard folders in these. The main compartment goes up into the handles of the backpack making it large enough to fit the corners of the school folders in it. We load these babies down. I have a 1st grader and a 3rd grader. Though my 3rd grader had abused hers pretty bad and with MI winters I am looking for something a bit larger because she has to have room for her snow pants and snow boots plus books and lunch box. I wasn't quite prepared for how much homework they start bringing home at that age! Either way this backpack has held up very well! The front compartment is a major plus not only for cold food but for wet gloves and stuff during winter. Saves the fabric from getting wet. I also love the buckle on their chest to help take some of the weight of their back. I haven't been able to find another backpack with this feature. I really wish they made this in different sizes because I would buy it no matter what price it was!"

"I bought three of these to donate to Operation Backpack NYC, full of school supplies. Everything fit inside, but if you're using a looseleaf, the looseleaf won't quite fit. Great for Pre-K and K students who don't usually use looseleaf notebooks. Attractive and adorable -- looks sturdy, too. Hope the recipients are as pleased with them as I am."
