"This is my 3rd Donner Overland Equipment bag. The other 2, which I've had for over 8 yrs, are still in perfect condition and used regularly. The black one all winter and the tan one all spring and summer. I just got this one because it was on sale and a beautiful color. I am not thrilled with the patch on the front that my other 2 older ones don't have,b ut I love the way the Donner organizes all of my things and is practical, comfortable, durable and looks great. I have Coach bags that I rarely use because I love my Donners. There is a place for everything that no other handbag seems to have."

"I purchased this bag in Wheat/Wheat for a family trip to Orlando. I used it as a smaller replacement for my everyday purse. The bag held our first aid kit, money, credit card, tickets, sunglasses for two adults and two children, boarding passes, anti-bac hand wipes, small snacks, and other miscellaneous items we picked up during the week. The bag was comfortable to wear both cross-body and over the shoulder, and was neutral enough for my husband to carry. There is an outside back pocket that was handy at the airport and a deep pocket inside the main zippered compartment that helped me keep our multiple items organized and easy to find. My only complaint would be with the outside flap pocket. While it has plenty of space for frequently used items like a cell phone or debit card, it is only a velcro closure so it is easy to reach underneath without actually opening the flap. If I wasn't paying attention, I think someone could pickpocket items out of it fairly easily. This would be more difficult to do while wearing it cross-body so that's how I wore it most of the time. The outside flap compartment does have a mesh, zippered pocket where I kept our cash and credit cards for added security, but it made those items a little less accessible. That said, I'm pleased with this bag and will carry it for more than just vacations. It will be a great bag for day trips and could even be used as an everyday bag."

"I love overland bags for the most part but agree with other posters that the velcro closure is awful. The bag itself is well organized in the front and comfortable to wear. The side pockets are great for holding many types of bottles and fabric is easy to clean in case of spills. The main compartment is hard to get in and out of but definitely secures things from accidentally falling out so makes a good trip bag. I would not purchase again because of the velcro!"
