"The Overland Equipment Shasta sling bag makes a great small backpack for city treks and traveling. The long zippered compartments make it easy to find things quickly and without having to unpack the whole bag. I have taken it on three trips and found it to be just the right size and very comfortable to carry. It has other niceties such as a hanger loop, a leather patch for attaching something on the outside, and a quick release buckle on the strap to take it off easily. My only suggestion would be to slightly modify the shape. When full, the pack protrudes quite a bit and I found that I have to take it off in close quarters so as not to bump into things. The overall shape is great but I would make it a little wider and flatter so that it hugs the body closer."

"I used this on a hiking trip and really loved it. Not so bulky as other backpacks I have used. Very comfortable and I love the color. My only suggestion is that a short clip should be installed at the bottom on the opposite side of the shoulder strap to attach to your pants belt loop. That way, when you bend over, the bag doesn't fall forward."

"I bought this item for a vacation to Disney. I used it as a carry-on for the plane and my everyday park bag. The design is really great. You can fit a lot of stuff in it and it will still be comfortable. The outside pocket for the water bottle is my favorite feature. It is easy to get a water bottle in and out of the bag. Everything can be accessed by simply bringing the bag around to the front of you. I usually carry it like a back back, but if I feel the need to I can swing it around to my side like a cross-body bag. There are two features missing that would otherwise make this a perfect bag- an inside zippered pouch and a clip for keys. It is a great bag!"

"This bag is a great size for an entire day out with my little one. My hands are kept free, the strap is large and confortable. You don't need to remove the bag to access the compartments, just slide it to the front of your body. I am very pleased with the bag."

"great bag for carrying my tablet,camera, and anything else i may need. very versital and durable i use it everyday and take it everywhere. one of the few lefty shoulder bags that isn't full size, recommend this bag to anyone looking for a simple yet versital bag"
