"This bag served me very well during a two-week trip to Europe. On the plane it organised all my documents and passport in its many pockets, and also kept my iPad Mini and headphones handy. There was still room left for a few energy bars too. One note about the inside pockets: I was really happy to find out that the passport pocket is big enough to accommodate my double-sized passport (it has 48 extra pages added to it), as well as my international driver's permit. The phone pocket is big enough to accommodate my iPhone in its external battery case. I also really liked the easy-adjust shoulder strap. I could adjust it to any length, even while walking. In terms of style, it's not the best, but it does work well with almost any casual outfit, and it's discreet, which is an advantage. I do think the security features are a bit overkill, as I found that simply being vigilant and not too friendly was enough to deter pickpockets and purse-snatchers. However, I also don't think the features add too much to the weight of the bag, so it was probably a good backup system for the moments when I was a bit distracted. The bag is so well organised and lightweight, I now use it as my everyday handbag."

"I purchased the Pacsafe Citysafe 200 GII handbag for a trip to Europe. When it arrived, I liked it so much, I started to use it every day. It is so light in weight compared to my previous leather handbag that I didn't want to use the leather handbag again. I purchased the bag in the new "plum" color, and it is beautiful. It is a subdued shade of plum and goes with most anything. I am looking forward to touring Europe with my new handbag."

"I got this for my trip to Europe this spring. I wanted an "HQ" bag. I had purchased a different bag but found it was not long enough to fit the pouch with my 8 1/2" wide documents (tickets, online reservation printouts, Eurail pass) pouch. I ordered this bag 2wks before we left. It came promptly & was perfect. The main pocket fit the document pouch, plus my wallet (RFID protected) with cash/credit/debit cards, passport etc, & my cosmetic/sundries pouch, as well as my umbrella, food, etc. It was also important for me to have a convenient place for my glasses case. I change between Rx indoor & Rx sunglasses every time I go in & out, many times a day. The one outside end pocket was perfect for this. The other held my water bottle. I draped my jacket or sweater across the purse itself when not wearing it. My daughter & I traveled throughout Europe, just the two of us, for 2 1/2 wks. We were never accosted, although there were times we felt we were looked at as possible targets. We carried our bags cross body, we were watchful & careful. Perhaps most importantly, they could see the logo, zippers, straps, clips, etc. and decided to go for an easier target."

"My sister and I each purchased this bag for our fall trip to Italy. Since pickpockets love the tourists, we wanted to keep our items safe. I have started using the bag on vacations/trips so I will be familiar with where I place items. There are lots of pockets inside, and a safe place for a passport and/or credit cards. It is not as roomy as a regular handbag as the main "mouth" of the handbag does not open very wide. This might be a problem for some, but I see it as another way to deter stealing. It is heavy because of the metal webbing reinforcement, but that is what makes it safe. The only negative for me is I wear lots of knit tops and the strap causes the fabric to pill in the front where the strap crosses my body. I bought a black seat belt strap cover which matches the strap very well and now it doesn't mess up my shirts. I like the bright color on the inside which allows me to see what's inside easily. I am happy to have the security of this bag when I travel so I enjoy the sights and not spend all my time worrying about thieves."

"Make no mistake--the other reviewers are absolutely right. This thing is BIG. At first I felt overwhelmed by it; I am short and thin. But as I realized how well it was organized, and how spacious the interior was, I was hooked. Personally, I would like to see the interior pouches/sections maybe in different colors so that I could find things more easily (I forget where I put things and all the pockets look alike!) But, maybe that's just me. It's well constructed and attractive. I like that doesn't scream "I'm a tourist" like other travel bags can. It looks more like a purse. I bought the walnut because I have an e-bags travel bag in black in a very different style, which I also like. I consider the black bag my fall/winter travel bag and the walnut my spring/summer bag because the colors coordinate better with my wardrobes at those times. This bag is a good value for the price. I would recommend it to other travelers, who like me, like to carry pretty much but kitchen sink--camera, i-pad and/or kindle, i-pod, snacks, miscellaneous stuff like tissues, brush, etc. tour guide and daily cash I transfer from a money pouch I wear under my clothing (which I find very comforting in its' security). Pairing it with a rolling carry on or an e-bags backpack, you don't have to check luggage--which I love. We're currently on a two week trip in Europe with these two items and I feel really good about our ability to travel lightly. I'd say go for it."

"This is my third Pacsafe purchase. I was looking for a cross-body bag that was large enough to hold my digital camera (a large one) along with travel guide, maps, wallet, umbrella and snacks. This one is perfect. I love the fact that my hands are free - the purse is large enough to fit all my needs - but not too big. Use this bag for travel to Europe."

"Bought this in anticipation of a month long trip to the UK next fall. This is the 2nd Pacsafe I bought recently, and the other was too big. This is still large enough to carry an iPad, a travel book and maps, and other things (including my camera) w/o making me feel like I'm wearing a carry-on bag full time. Also, I bought the blue color, which is very muted blue gray, so I can comfortably carry it while I wear black, gray, or blue while I travel, which is good b/c I *hate* to change purses."

"This bag is well constructed and comfortable to wear cross-body. The interior has several pockets for organization and a zippered outer pocket on the side facing-the-body. My 10" tablet fits the generously sized inner (snap-secure) pocket with the cover on. The bag is large enough without being too large. It has a gussetted bottom but will not stand on its own, has no metal 'feet'. The plum color is nice and I plan to get another like this in a lighter color. I've been using this for the past 2 weeks and I'm satisfied with my purchase."

"I love this bag. It was great to take to Italy where I heard of lots of pick pocketing happens and it did to one person in our group. I was able to get my passport, money, a small umbrella (to block the sun), my folding cane and a few other personal articles. In hung nicely close to by body without creating any problems. I highly recommend this bag."

"I just returned from a two-week trip through Central Europe where I had been warned that pick pockets were prevalent. After much research, including a call to a PacSafe representative providing my specific needs (something that would carry a large camera, anticipated gift purchases, possibly a jacket), she recommended the Citysafe 200 GII Anti-Theft handbag. I could not have been more pleased with my purchase (in Walnut). The fabric is light, it easily held my camera and sunglasses in the inner area, journal in the outer zipped pocket, and water bottle in an expandable side pocket. It also has a second side pocket for a travel umbrella. I used the inner pockets for my reading glasses and credit cards (in the RFID-proof pocket), and there was even a place for a pen and clips for luggage keys. Because it can be worn in front (as was recommended by our tour guides), I felt very confident walking through high tourist areas without fear of being pick pocketed. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone taking a trip where they want to look stylish and feel secure at the same time."

"I loved this purse and was very happy with it as a vacation handbag with its extra pockets and slash proof shoulder strap. That was until this summer when small slivers of metal protruded from the shoulder strap and caused several mental splinters in my hands and arms. I only use this bag when I am traveling so it was hardly used in the 3 years that I owned it."
