"The Pacsafe Hobo is a large/roomy bag that I use for travel because it can be worn over the shoulder or cross body for more security. It easily holds a compact umbrella, small thermos/water bottle on the 2 end pockets. Easily stuff a lightweight jacket along with iPad, wallet and anything else that I will carry on board. This hobo is soft structured so it can fit inside your suitcase if you don't want to carry it. My one complaint is that this hobo bag has only one outside pocket. There are two zippers-if you unzip both zippers, you can slide your suitcase handles through the opening so that this Hobo bag sits securely on top of your rolling suitcase. Or just unzip the top one and you can use it as an outside pocket. The problem with this Hobo's outside zipper pocket design is if you forget to completely close the bottom zipper (or it somehow slides open), your stuff will fall out! So I never use the outside zipper pockets for anything except tissue, extra pens or non essentials. I also have an older Pacsafe tote style bag (I think the model is 300) which is pretty close in dimensions to this hobo. However the tote style can't be worn cross body because of the short strap style and fits less; I also got this newer hobo because it has a wider base and fits more than the tote style. However the old Pacsafe tote style bag had one side with a dedicated pouch (but no zipper on top!) and the other side with dedicated openings to slide over your suitcase handles, which I would have preferred when they designed this hobo. Other than this design flaw with only one outer pouch serving as either a pouch or handle slide thru, this hobo bag is nice, roomy, & has good security features. The bag seems to be holding up ok. My old tote is also in good shape. The hobo bag is large and if you have a smaller frame, it may look huge on you or the straps might be a bit long. I'm about 5 6" medium build, and the bag size/strap length was fine for me."

"Sorry. This bag did not arrive. It was probably stolen from the mail drop. The area was reporting thefts from porches and mail areas. Or the item was lost in the transfer to UPS to the USPS, a practice I wasn't aware of. However I was just looking at it again ..."

"This bag is great! I wish the strap was a bit longer because I am 6 feet tall and like to wear the bag across my body while traveling. Although I can still do it, it would be perfect if I could make it a little longer. Otherwise, it is a fabulous bag!"

"Have not used the bag yet,but believe it will be perfect for my upcoming travel to Europe. In Spain and Italy you must use extreme caution when carrying anything, so this bag will be perfect. The ability to attach it to chair, arm rest on train, etc. will be great, especially if you fall asleep or are in a restuarant. This bag is very large, so the ability to place over the handle of my luggage will be very helpful. The bag is large enough for everything you need for travel (coat, a smaller purse, magazines, book, snacks, etc. - if you carry ipad or lap top I would still use a more padded case)"

"This is a perfectly sized bag to put under the airplane seat in front of you. I put in a travel blanket,a 8"x11" bag full of snacks, wallet, etc. This gives me easy access. After I arrived at my destination, I put in a raincoat or a lightweight jacket. The 2 pockets on each side of this bag are great for a bottle of water & an umbrella. These pockets are much bigger & easier to use than the ones on Pacsafe's other smaller travel bags. I did not have any trouble taking it into many museums in Rome last week. It is a very big bag for a petite woman, as pointed out by another owner. However, I really like to have my hands free to use my camera or hold on to an umbrella when it rained. This bag's material is also much more water resistant than Pacsafe's older products from a few years ago."

"THis bag looks great, but if I really put in everything I want to have onboard when traveling it gets quite heavy and uncomfortable to carry. It helps that it can be carried cross-body, but that's not always convenient - like when walking down a narrow plane aisle. I've used it as my "personal item" on flights for two trips in the last 7 months and found that I carried it only when I felt I had to - on the days when we were actually flying, for the most part. Otherwise, I wanted to carry something smaller and lighter when sight-seeing, getting meals, etc. I ended up putting a small purse within the larger bag that I could pull out to use. I also had trouble with the main zipper getting stuck when the bag was full - lining fabric getting caught when zipping. I feel the bag serves a definite purpose for me for "carrying-on", but I can't say I enjoy carrying it."

"My husband and I went overseas and I used this bag for traveling. Made it easier to find items that you needed at the airport and it was comfortable on the shoulder. Also like the anti theft features. Gives you more security in knowing your belongings are safe."

"This is a perfect carry on tote/purse. Carries everything i need for international flights. After arriving, i switch to a smaller pac safe bag. Never been disappointed at e bags!"

"The item was about twice the size I expected, but I got it the day before a trip, so I used it, anyway. The purse was like a bottomless pit and kept folding over on itself. It was frustrating to use it for the entire duration of the 13 day trip and I won't use it again. It was too big for even me... the person who carries the biggest and heaviest bags in my group of friends! I would get the next size below the 400. A friend has the 200, I believe, and that turned out to be great for her and would also work for me."
