"Great size for airline carryon and comfortable too. I wish there were more organizing pockets inside, but the two mesh flap pockets and one on the front are pretty sufficient for small items. The material feels durable and our bigger size blue bag that we checked got dirty but did very well for being tossed about by the baggage people here and back from Mexico. Oh, and I like the padded bottom panel."

"I love this bag - it's awesome! I typically buy either North Face, Patagonia or Military Surplus brands like Condor, so I knew it was a nicer brand. I wanted to get a duffel-bag for travel in the warmer months, to avoid taking a carry-on suitcase. I also have a Jeep that we take into the backwoods and wanted something for that too. Like you, I read reviews to get people's opinions and I'd say many of the reviews are spot on. Great straps, great material, versatile with strap options, not many organizational compartments - overall, great bag. I think this easily holds enough clothing for a guy to get buy for at least 72 hours or several, several days if you're smart with what you bring. Also, the two pockets on the interior do an okay job of holding smaller items. Black option looks just like the photo (duh!) and I was pleased with that it was as nice as presented. I too agree the weather-proofing is cool and the zippers slide back into the nice slots to keep them secure and dry. Comfy to wear too!"

"I use this bag when flying. carry on is the best and only option. it fits below the seat and easily fits in the over- head compartment. with the backpack straps, it is easy to maneuver through crowded airports. It is well made, sturdy and spacious. we are buying one for each family member. great investment!"

"Another terrific Patagonia product that will last though any travel challenges. The lack of interior and zippered pockets is a negative if you're looking for this as an everyday duffel, but for outdoor/adventure travel this makes a great overnighter/weekender."
