"This is a great, lightweight pack with several internal pockets and differentiated storage areas including bottle-holders on both sides. One could use this as a serious hiking pack given the quality of the shoulder straps and the presence of a waist buckle (which tends to wrap around the abdoman for taller people like myself so I don't use it). It's particularly good if you need to stand it down because it tends to self-stand despite being lightweight. I have not used this pack in very wet or snowy weather conditions yet and can only atest to its durability in light rain conditions - everything inside the internal pockets were kept dry. "First off; eBags was great with my first experience. Patagonia is renowned for it's quality products and this backpack doesn't disappoint. The weight is light while empty and when completely loaded with x2 laptops, chargers peripherals and a bottle of water it carries it lighter with very well designed straps. I was looking for a daily pack that would be quick access to my laptop, offer great protection from damage if the bag was dropped or something placed on it for my laptop. Access to the laptop compartment isn't the easiest especially if there is quite a bit of stuff in the main compartment. The built-in sleeve leaves a bit to be desired for security from dropping or having something placed on it. There is a main compartment then a smaller outer compartment that doesn't hold as much as I would like in electronics. For a daily computing/on-the-go office scenerio I'd give it a 6/10 but as a weekender, change of clothes, tablet or netbook backpack it's a solid 9/10 if not higher. Sweet pack but I need something different for work."
