"This bag is seriously so amazing. Fits my 16" laptop perfectly and still has room for all of my books as well.I don't have to worry about protecting for my laptop and the strap that buckles across your chest is great for biking to class and around town. Perfect bag for a college student."

"Needed a rugged bag for travel and this fits the bill. Able to hold my Thinkpad 15.4 lappy with no problem. Bag has several soft compartments for sunglasses or cellphones. I have managed to carry a bit of a load comfortably running to catch connecting flights. I do like the build quality. Seems to be a bag that will survive many days of travel. If I had to say anything I didn't like about it .. or wished to be different...its the size. This is not a weekend pack... It's a perfect bag to carry all your commuting needs.. maybe an overnight trip... so if it was a tad bit bigger I would own multiple colors of this bag."

"Looks great, space for everything I need, laptop fits nicely, and straps can be used to attach to my free-wheeling carry-on roller bag. It even holds a rather bulky sunglass case. I researched many bags before selecting this one and am happy with the result."

"Patagonia Refugio pack is a great pack. It has all the organizational pockets I need for school and work. My laptop fits perfectly. High quality stitchings, very comfortable and the color scheme I got(golden maple) is striking. I'm very happy with this purchase."

"Great back pack, comfortable and has some unique features that were a surprise to me, like the built-in whistle and rubberized pull ring. Great size, features, and usability!"

"I was looking for a backpack that I could use primarilly for school but that could also work well with hiking and travel. This has definitely fit my criteria, and it looks cute and outdoorsy as well. I have been bringing it to classes with my laptop and all my books; not only does the refugio fit it all without pulling me backwards, but it stores it in a way that is streamlined and doesn't create a huge bump on my back. The pulls on the side help with that too. The second pocket has great storage for pencils and other school supplies, and there are spots in the main pocket for a laptop and other supplies at the bottom. Although there is a zipper pocket at the top for electronics, I kind of with that it had some sort of a hidden pocket for things like your passport. That is my only real complaint however, and overall I would give my most shining recommendations for this bag."

"It's a nice backpack with great compartments for organization, and the size is good, but the straps are hard and stiff. They hurt my shoulders immediately and didn't feel any better after months of use."

"Appearance: Bought this in the Curacao color, and it is deeper blue and more off-white than in the picture- very pleasantly surprised with the richer colors. Versatility: I chose this pack because I need it for several things... travel, camping, and everyday biking/going to the gym. It seems durable and comfortable enough for long wear, but light enough to take along for casual transport. I love all of the different pockets and organizational features. Value: Definitely more pricey than I would have liked, but after researching the options, I decided that the quality was worth a shot. So far, I'm happy!"

"The appearance is awesome and it fits perfectly around my shoulders. The organizational pockets are well located except for the pouch located inside the bag. This pouch has enough room to hold cords, chargers or any item you want concealed. The only problem is that it can get in the way of storing additional items inside. For instance, I pack a lot of books and when i use this pouch for holding my laptop charger and phone charger it becomes difficult to withdrawal and replace books inside due to the nature of the bulky chargers. There is enough room to store my all my books which is amazing because i pack a lot of *$!! The quality of the material and stitching is impressive."
