"Yes, this is a handsome bag and will serve me well. But...I sought out a Piel bag with pierced zipper tabs that would allow me to place a lock (purchased on e-Bags) through them to secure the bags contents. Not every Piel bag shows such zipper tabs ... but this one did. Imagine my disappointment when the bag that arrived did not have such tabs. If a lockable bag is important to you, Id suggest you ask e-Bags customer service to verify this feature before you place your order. In the end, by the way, I was able to snake my locks shackle through holes at the base of the tabs...."

"Good quality leather and construction. I have overloaded this bag in terms of weight and it held up perfectly. Can get up to five days worth of clothes into it."

"Great bag for my 24 year old son who lives in Manhattan and loves fashion. He wanted a gym bag, but used it immediately to go skiing for the weekend. Beautiful leather. We were both very happy!"

"Piel makes top quality products, and this is no different. Thick leather, rich texture, luxurious aroma. Plenty of space for overnight or weekenders. Too nice for a gym bag, but could fit that description as well. Expect many years of use."

"Haven't used this yet. Leather is very nice. Bought this to replace a Travelpro duffel no longer produced. This is MUCH larger than it appears and is not much use for me on regional jets. I will be looking for a smaller replacement bag, but will still keep this for short vacation trips."

"I just purchased this bag for my husband for Christmas. When I received it I was surprised of the awesome deep Chocolate leather color and the quality of this bag from the other ones I've seen in the stores. If I have a small negative to say, it would be that the top unzipped from one side to the other. I would have liked to seen a two zipper system on both sides of the top unzipping from one end to the other so the opening would be larger to put in clothes without having to bend them in half. But the quality of this bag far out weighs that small negative. I only hope my husband likes it as much as I do, or should I say, hope he doesn't like it, then it will be mine. We may be ordering another, just hope I can get as great a deal on another as I did this one!"

"Great bag! Very similar to what I used as a carry-on for years in the military. However, this bag is handsome, thicker leather and better workmanship. Needs some character marks but that will come in time. Fully expect this to last many years. Thanks for great product!!"
