Piel Checkpoint Friendly Urban Laptop Backpack 

"This is a nicely crafted, excellently designed computer backpack except for one little feature. There is a leather strap across the top of the back of the bag that makes it somewhat painful carry across my shoulder. I'm not sure why the strap of leather is there because it doesn't seem to serve any function other than to restrict the shoulder straps. Other than that, this is a great bag and was very organized for my needs."

I bought it for #2 son and he loves it and uses it for his college backpack. Now my daughter is dropping hints that she would love to get one, as well. Apparently, it's fabulous and unisex. "First, please note that Ebags has reversed the laptop compartment dimensions with the overall dimensions. This is why it says that many large laptops would fit, while also labeling the bag as "extra small". My 15.4 inch Dell fit snugly but larger would not fit. I am a university professor and need something that can function as a briefcase, look very professional, and yet not hurt my back. This backpack is the perfect solution for that. It also fits snugly in my bicycle rear side rack for added flexibility. I can walk or bike to work or around campus. Overall I like this bag for its size and appearance. There is plenty of space for my books and materials in addition to the laptop. The main compartment is a large 11" by 4.5" or so with no internal divisions. This gives you flexibility for putting large bulky things inside (thermos, books). It also means that everything gets dumped together unless you create your own organizational framework using small boxes for holding sunglasses, umbrella, etc. The outer pocket seems mainly for flat things no wider than a phone. Before I ordered it I thought the straps might be too thin, putting stress on my shoulders when the bag is full, but they turn out to be quite comfortable. Likewise the handle is stronger than it appears to be in the pictures. FYI I am 6ƈ", so perhaps this bag would be too big for much shorter people."

"Looks are very important in my business. This laptop bag fills that requirement without question. I carry a Mac Power Book 15" not problem. Also have a SLR camera with several lenses again no problem. However the problem I have is the lack of small pockets and a place for key while I go through airport security. There is no place for smalls! More pockets please headphones, coins, parking tickets, etc."

"I like it. Its a clean uncluttered look. Holds my computer and what I need for the day to day and looks more professional than a canvas or tech fabric pack. My back doesn't tolerate carrying something asymmetrically, so I need to use a backpack, but I also need to have a look that is somewhat less casual than a college student! Am happy with it and yes, it goes through TSA security checks efficiently."
