"My haiku review: Nice high-end leather / Nothing fancy, does the job / Fits all the basics. In all seriousness, it met all my requirements. The inside zipper pocket isn't gigantic, but useful enough. Part of me wanted to buy a bigger bag to carry a few extra things, but bags that big boarder on ridiculous. This is big, but still professional. The straps lie flat making it comfortable to carry. Fits my Macbook Air in its protective sleeve."

"Love this bag! I also purchased the Hobo with intent to return whichever I liked less, but decided to keep both. In short, best totes I've ever purchased in my 15 years of needing one. The longer of it: quality and leather are suberb! They look stylish while still being functional! This tote in particular is slightly larger than the hobo so I used it for a week off international business travel. I could fit my laptop, tablet, magazines, plugs/chargers for all devices, camera, mouse, business/travel papers and all the other little stuff...and still room for water bottle on side. I was concerned w size due to some reviews, but plenty of room and no need to unbuckle the side decorations. I highly recommend this bag!!"

"I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER AFTER SHE GOT HER PHD. SHE WILL BE WORKING AT THE NIH, AND THOUGHT IT WOULD WORK WELL FOR HER. IT IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL LOOKING BAG, WITH PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL SHE NEEDS TO CARRY. THE HANDLES ARE A GREAT LENGTH, AND THE METAL FEET ON THE BOTTOM ASSURE IT WILL LOOK GOOD FOR YEARS TO COME. A GREAT BAG FOR THE PRICE."

"This is a great bag for work and travel. The leather is soft, it's light weight and the straps are a good length for carrying over the shoulder. It's large enough to carry a laptop, files, books and other miscellaneos items, without being bulky. Overall, I'm very happy with this bag; it's just what I was looking for - a functional, easy to carry bag that also looks stylish and professional."

"I purchased this bag because I travel frequently and attend conferences. Before, I toted around a handbag and a laptop bag -- it was too much. This Piel bag is perfect because I combine my personal handbag items with my laptop equipment and everything fits for a neat, professional look. Great quality bag and very classy."

"My Piel tote is great for everyday work. It holds what I need back and forth from the office. When I go on business trips, it is roomy enough to hold extra papers and gadgets. I just wish the phone pocket held an IPhone. It looks like it was created to hold a Blackberry (who cares those now except for teens that text and really old guys)."
