"This bag does fit a 13' Mac Air along with its power cables. However, the other compartments in the bag are almost useless. The "organization pockets" on the inside compartment are too small to fit anything except maybe a Kleenex or metro card. The "cell phone" pocket might have fit my tiny flip phone I had 5 years ago. It doesn't come close to fitting an iphone or my current Razr. The pocket with the flip over closure tapers to the bottom like a wedge of cheese, maybe it's good for storing loose mints or something. The zipper pocket on the front and back are extremely tight, they are only good for sliding papers in. My other problem is the North\South design. Everything you put in the front open compartment just falls to the bottom in a jumble so you are constantly digging to find anything. This bag would have been great if someone in their design department had taken a few minutes to design pockets to mitigate this fundamental problem with North\South bags. They could have at least measured the latest popular phones and designed the pockets accordingly. I¿m returning this bag."

"The leather was much too stiff. There were scuff marks on the purse that make it appear as if it was seconds. I returned the bag two days after I received it. I never use the bag. If I have liked it I would have used it daily and also for traveling."

"The bag looked great when it arrived. But after two days of sitting -- still in the box -- with one corner slightly bent, the leather on the flap was wrinkled beyond fixing. I really liked the bag, so I tried everything I could to smooth it out. I think the flap leather is just too flimsy -- the leather also looked shoddy near the bottom of the flap where part of it was reinforced and part was not. There was already a noticeable unattractive wrinkle where the reinforcement stopped, and I'd opened the bag maybe five times to look at it. So as much as I liked this bag initially, I sent it back. I can't imagine how bad the flap leather would look if I actually used it!"

"I am really disappointed with the look of this bag. The white contrast stitching is very pronounced (not like it's pictured) and really looks very tacky. Also, the bag is not well-structured, so it seemsa little shabby right out of the box. The leather feels nice, but the overall appearance is anything but crisp and modern."

"The leather is soft and attractive but the white stitching was a bit more casual than I was expecting. Vertical bags are easier to carry but harder to access. The velcro on the inner pouches slightly increases that difficulty. Nevertheless I got used to this bag quickly and use it every day for my iPad and subway reading material."

"I researched this type of bag (vertical laptop messenger) on-line at many different sites (Amazon,Zappos..etc) and looked at many different makers. I chose this Piel bag because it has a very simple design without much clutter on the outside and it's incredibly handsome and expensive looking. I received the bag today and I couldn't be happier. I went over the whole bag looking for flaws in the stitching, badly matched hides, the leather not folding properly, zippers... I can't find a thing wrong with this bag. It is PERFECT. I have a 13 inch macbook pro that fits perfectly in the padded computer compartment and I still have room for some folders, pens, cell phone...etc. The inside of the bag is very well made with a nylon type liner and there is even some of this beautiful leather on the inside as well. Did I mention how soft it is? Incredibly soft, yet when my laptop is inside it doesn't lose it's shape or sag. The hardware is of very high quality and stress points have double stitching. I will be comfortable carrying it to a meeting or on vacation. I can't believe I got this bag for $150. I know that's not cheap, but compared to the price of some of the "designer" bags I was looking at ($300-$500) I feel I got a real bargain. As far as this web site goes, I couldn't be happier. I ordered this bag on 4/19/11 and received it on 4/22/11. Thank you eBags! You were the lowest price of anyone and you gave me excellent service. I'll be shopping with you again."
