Piel Women's Large Business Tote 

"I love this bag! I've been looking for an ex-large leather tote that I can use for business and travel. It's perfect for business because I can carry files, laptop, tablet, lunch, etc. But I mainly got the bag to use during some international traveling I'll be doing soon - after having had my luggage lost, I now like to pack a change of clothes and a few other personal items in my carryon and the size allows for that that with ample room for magazines, bottled water, tablet and room for duty free!! The price is excellent and the quality leather could rival Coach."

"The bag is beautiful. I love the size, the color, the leather, the outside pockets, and I even think the price was okay. I bought the bag intending to use it daily to haul my computer and files back and forth from home/office. Only two complaints: (1) There is absolutely no built-in support for the bottom of the bag, so anything you put in it (especially a laptop) is going to make the bag "sag" in in the middle-this is my biggest complaint with the bag. (2) There are only two interior pockets-one zipper pocket and one pocket on the outside of the zipper pocket that is too small for a cell phone-would hold business cards or a couple of pens, but that's it."

"I ordered two of these bags, one black and one red. The red one is a little bit larger than the black one which makes me wonder if I received the smaller size in the black. Also, the cell phone pocket is on the inside of the front panel in the red bag and on the inside of the back panel in the black bag. Were they manufactured by different makers?"

"I really wanted to love this bag--mostly for it's sheer size. BUT...the lack of support on the bottom of it (and no feet) ruined it for me. I use it to hold books and my laptop and because there is no structured bottom, it sags horrible under the weight of whatever is inside of it. I know others have said to just get a piece of cardboard to put in it but honestly, if I am spending this much money on a bag, I don't want to have to put a piece of cheap cardboard in it to make it stable. You absolutely can not set it down (even full) and have it stand up--it falls over every time. I am returning this one and keeping the Clava Super Tote instead since it meets all my requirements (but could be a bit larger in size)."

"I have several Piel items and they are all top grain leather. I purchased the medium sized bag just like it 5 years ago to carry on a 12 day cruise to Europe and loved it! The pockets help keep the most used items within quick reach (phone, headphones, pen, etc.) It has a hidden zipper pocket that is perfect for extra money or passports. I have used the other bag over and over and it barely shows any wear at all. I bought this one so I can carry my laptop and overnite/weekend clothes. You will not be disappointed with a Piel product - top quality bags!"

"This bag almost fulfills my "under the airplane seat" tote requirements. It is a beautiful color and is well made. I am happy with it. It is big enough for all my en route stuff and small enough to stuff under the seat ahead of me. What it needs: metal feet to preserve the leather on the bottom, a panel of leather on the back to slip onto the handle of my wheeled carry on bag and compartments for internal organization. I took it to a shoe maker and had a piece of leather sewn onto the back and now I can slip it onto my wheelie bag. I constructed an insert with stiff sides and lots of pockets for items for the huge interior. Otherwise everything you put in this unstructured, soft leather bag would be jumbled up and you couldn't find anything. The bottom is still unprotected and I am on the search for sturdy metal feet to attach to the bottom of the bag so when I put it on the floor of an airport restroom, it won't get icky. I searched and searched the internet and stores to find a bag this size, attractive leather, strip to attach to wheelie bage, internal organizer, and metal feet. Do you think I could find all that? Nope so I settled for this one and with my few adjustments,it's working well."
