"This is the right tote for me, but I can see that some would find it too big for everyday. I try to refrain from carrying too many books back and forth from work, but when I need to, this bag can handle the load. I wish there were one more sizable zipper pocket on one of the inside walls of the bag, but overall I am extremely pleased with look, durability, and quality of this bag!"

"I think this black bag is quite beautiful and i enjoy that aspect of it enormously. In addition, i am surprised at how uniformly positive the comments from others are. i keep it organized by using several small cloth bags to hold things that go together and, to avoid feeling uneasy on the metro trains, i keep my wallet under those so that no one could possibly sneak that out without me noticing. Because of the simplicity of the design and the richness of the material, this pielbag is appropriate for any place and occasion. a.r."

"It's a nice bag, and large, but the handles are way too long. I can't carry it in my hand, down at my side, unless I'm wearing really high heels (I'm 5ft 3in tall). Otherwise, I'm very happy with it."

"I bought this bag to use when I need to travel for work and/or when I need to bring my laptop back and forth (not every day). This bag easily fits everything I need it to and then some, is quite durable, isn't too heavy on its own and I've gotten lots of compliments on it (bought in tan color). I did have to get the straps shortened by about 2 inches because I felt like it hung a little too low (I'm 5ƍ") but it was a cheap fix - about $20 - to an otherwise great bag. I could probably use one additional interior pocket so that I could separate my phone from keys but overall the bag works well for me. My caution would be that due to its size it is easy to overload it and it would be a lot to carry on one shoulder."

"This is a HUGE bag but I love it. The leather is of good quality and soft but does not "flop" over as many large soft leather bags do. I love the outside pockets on each side. They are very deep. They will come in handy traveling. I wish there was more than one pocket on the inside along with the phone pocket. The only problem I can foresee with this bag is the stitching on the handles. It is sewn across the top and I can see it coming unstitched over time. I had a bag do that to me while I was in the Dallas/Ft.Worth Airport. Not a good experience. I may take it and have more stitching put on the seams of the handles. I got the tan one and love the color If you like large bags, this one is for you."
