"Good value for the money. Only hesitation is that it would be nice if it was just a little bit larger and had some stiffening substance in the bottom to let it stay open more easily. I just put some heavy cardboard in the base and that worked pretty well. Used it on shore excursions on a cruise and worked well to carry umbrella, water bottle, camera, etc. Appreciated the across the body carrying design as it allowed the bsg to be carried in the front when necessary. Would buy it again."

"We used this on our recent trip and it was extremely versatile. My husband used it as a carry-on for the airplane with my magazines, our boarding passes, camera, GPS, goodies to munch on, water, health record, etc., etc. We still had space left unused. We also used to during our jaunts during our trip to carry local maps, wallets, water, munchies, etc. It was comfortable for my husband to carry over his head and across the opposite shoulder for security and it still looks brand new. Holds lots of stuff and is very sturdy. Another 10 out of 10, Rick!!"

"This bag is very unstructured so you can wad it up in your carry-on. I will be doing a lot of "hill walking" in Ireland and this bag will be just right."

"I've taken this little pack to Europe and Canada on vacation for weeks at a time. it folds (or crumples) into a little ball or flat on the bottom of your suitcase for transit or makes a great carry-on "personal item" for the airplane. I toted this around on my shoulder or back for two weeks while sight-seeing in London and Paris last year and it fit every possible thing I could have wanted with me - snacks, water, an umbrella, a raincoat, my travel guidebooks, maps, camera... no problem! It weighs practically NOTHING on its own - so it can be as light or as heavy as the stuff you put into it. It is also very strong - over the weeks I carried it, I shoved things in and pulled them out and opened and closed the zippers untold number of times, I set it on every possible surface - it is still in fantastic shape! ALSO - it dries out in about 2 hours if you get rained on. I'm rambling, I know - but I just can't recommend it enough! Now - it does NOT have any structure to it - so if you need that (for a large, expensive camera say?) then this is not for you. But if you're just running around and want to carry lots of stuff with you easily - this is the one!"

"Bought this bag for a recent trip to Norway. It was lightweight, durable, and I was able to fit everything I needed for a day of touring -- including a tour guide, my Nikon camera, and a bottle of water. It fits easily under airplane seats or folds up to take up hardly any space in another bag."

"I bought the bag thinking that it was cheap, it felt good and just maybe -- I might use it. It turned out that I used it everyday on our three week vacation throughout Europe. I always had a bottle of water, maps, tour books and a camera inside the bag. I would then add whatever I bought during the day. It was rugged and comfortable. I am buying three more for my family."

"I have been looking for a shoulder bag to replace the one I have travelled with for years now. When I saw Steve wearing it on his show, and offering it during a local PBS pledge session, I went to ebags to check it out. It is exactly the size, color, shape and material that I have been looking for for about two full years now. It is perfect, and I really do appreciate the price break as well. Not a bit of quality has been lost in the transaction."

"This little bag holds alot! We purchased this for vacations so that my husband & I could both put our stuff in it & I wouldn't need to carry a purse. It worked out just as we hoped."

"I love my Civita Shoulder bag, it replaces a purse when I travelby air. It holds everything I need ; my boarding pass in the back pocket, valuables in the big zipped section, important papers in the next, & comb, etc in the little pocket. There's always room to tuck in a sweater, more papers, or other items. I can wear it in the front for security, or swing it to the back. All pockets are readily available and the bag slips under the seat on the plane leaving foot room too."

"I received the bag on Friday, and Tuesday morning the handle ripped from the bag on one side. Then in the afternoon, the shoulder strap hook separated. I had the equivalent of about 2 Nooks in my bag when this happened (one Nook and some papers, and a small index card binder). 4 days for the bag to fall apart is lousy quality. I was pleased with the color, material, and really liked the size, but the handles are very cheaply attached."
