Rimowa Salsa 16" Business Trolley

"First of all, lets be clear - the Rimowa is the cadillac of business luggage. This is a solid piece of work that can even fit in the overhead compartments of regional jets. It is very convenient (especially if you get the four wheeled version). However, while the product is top notch, beware of customer service. For Rimowa, this is an oxymoron. I had to get a replacement tag for my business trolley so I called Customer Service in Cambridge Ontario. Once connected, I was quickly informed that: (1) Rimowa does not work with customers directly; (2) please contact your Rimowa dealer who will be glad to get you a replacement (at a premium price); and, (3) good riddance. I have to admit that this was done very quickly. This bothered me because at this price, you are not only buying the product but also the company and its ability to serve you. For the price of one Rimowa business trolley, you could get 3 Heys 4w EZ spinners. I have gotten better customer service from Zero, Tumi, and Hartmann. BTW, since this experience, I acquired another Rimowa, which I returned because the handle would not properly extend. In short, good product, bad customer service, premium price."
