"I own 4 of these suitcases (2 for me, 2 for my spouse). We have used these cases on several long distance trips (Thailand, Australia) and they have held up remarkably well. They do get scuffed up going through the baggage hub but they are up to the task. Have had no broken wheels, no broken handles, no dents, no problems. They pack a lot and are lightweight too. Oh, and their color (we have the gold and light blue ones) mean we can spot them quickly at the baggage claim. Perfect suitcase for long distance travel when you want to ensure your suitcase stays in good order."

"I've just returned from my first trip with my Rimowa suitcase. The large size of the suitcase allowed me to travel with one suitcase only for a two week trip to Egypt. I was concerned that I had overpacked, but it held up with no difficulty. Air Egypt slapped a fragile sticker on it on the first of five legs, so that probably helped some (I'm leaving it on, just for better treatment). I purchased Rimowa for the interior layout. I have had a set of Bric suitcases with a similar layut which I really like. I would prefer a strap system to the zippered compartments, however, as I think the strap sytem offers a little more flexibility (my Brics have one side with each, which I love). I feared that the interior netting might tear. The Rimowa is easily maneuvered, even when full full. That was a real benefit on several occasions. This trip was the test to see if I would purchase two more (one smaller suitcase and the carry on). I am overall pleased, and will go ahead with another order of Rimowa. Several of my traveling companions were interested in it as well."

"I own four pieces of this luggage in various sizes. They are the best lightweight luggage around in my opinion. I have had two pieces for nine years and two pieces for two years. The older ones are holding up very well and all pieces have been around he world with me"

"The product came with a defect. The handle would not stay when pulled out. Both eBags and Rimowa acted spotlessly. However, you would expect that paying 500$+ for the bag means you can count on quality. If you fill it with heavy items, the sides of bag "bend" when you lift it. This was real-life test, and the bag did survive intercontinental flight even heavily overloaded. All together, I would say this is probably very good choice when traveling with lots of clothes and you keep the weight up to what airlines limit anyhows."
