"My order arrived quickly from ebags, and in good shape. I've just returned from a two-week archaeological trip to Turkey, and this bag performed well. Wheels survived several rough cobbled streets. Bag was tossed in and out of airplane baggage pits and tour bus cargo holds with little wear. For a "carry-on" sized bag, it held two weeks worth of clothes, tripod, toiletries, and souvenirs. I didn't even have to use the zip-out expansion option. The only other bag I used was a small under-seat rollon. The Aspire Sport did a fine job of carrying all my "stuff," and it appears ready for another such adventure whenever I am."

"So far so good, just received two of these bags last week (1 red/black & 1 black) and finished my first trip with them. They are very light compared to other carry ons I've had. Wheels roll very smooth and quietly. More stable standing upright and expanded than my previous Ricardo carry on. Seems durable, but extension handle does not appear any stronger than the Ricardo (handle broke on Ricardo, we'll see how long it lasts for Samsonite). Zippers work normal, bag fits in overhead bins fine. My boss just got the slightly heavier & cheaper model a few months ago which looks almost identical (Glyde 2), other than weight and small material queues we couldn't tell them apart. Well it's cheaper than the Aspire on Kohls site, but I still got the Aspire for $90 on ebags while he got his from Kohls half off = $100. Reg price at Kohls (Glyde 2 = $200 & Aspire= $240). He likes his and already took it around the world on several Airlines. He travels alot and got it because it meets specs for all major Airlines, when his prev bag was slightly oversized. Overall is buy again, but only time and abuse will tell how well it holds up."

"Ordered the red. Love the way it looks and seems sturdy enough. One issue I had was that I ordered it to be a carry-on. Took a 3-day trip and didn't want to deal with checking in. I knew the size was close to the maximum size allowed on airline, but I took the risk. Ended up the measurements were incorrect on the eBags website (very slight 14" vs 14.5") but that can make a world of difference when trying to fit into the carry-on sizer provided by airline. When we arrived, we attempted putting it in, and it would NOT go in (the .5"). I was stressed, took our chances and decided to go all the way to gate. Luckily no one stopped us. But the anxiousness I felt, while looking at everyone else's smaller carry-ons, made me regret not getting something smaller. However, on our way back home, we were stopped, TWICE. Once at the gate (THE GATE!!) where they wanted me to check my bag. I argued and was able to shove it into their sizer (luckily theirs was larger). And then stopped again on our connecting flight. So would I bring this as a carry-on again? NO. But it's ashame because it is a nice bag and that was the only reason why I purchased it. Vacations should never be that stressful over a bag."

"So far this product seems to be exactly what I am looking for. It is great looking. It has pockets on the outside and the color is great. It seems to be sturdy enough to withstand the rigors of the luggage handlers that work for the airlines."

"I bought this bag to fit in the overhead and it does. The wheels work really well and it holds a lot of clothing, shoes, etc. I loved the bag until Delta tore the wheels off of it during a gate check. I had them replaced by a luggage repair store, but they never worked as well as the originals. Then, during a trip to Italy, the handle stuck and eventually broke. I had to drag it all over Italy with the handle attached to only one post. Eventually, the handle broke off and I had to drag it by the post only. I am disappointed in this, as I really liked the suitcase. I'm shopping for a different one - don't want to deal with the shoddy handle again."

"The description presented a higher quality more durable product than the one that arrived. I think the zippers look cheap and they don't have pulls on them to help get them closed when the bag is full. The inside lining looks cheap. The wheels and handle don't work that well together. I stayed away from cheaper bags because I wanted a little more quality than what I got with the bag I purchased."

"I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He thought it was perfect. He likes the insde organization. He needs a good size bag that can hold a lot, keep things neat, and still be used as a carry-on. This one fits the bill! He likes the red so it is quickly identifiable. It seems sturdy. Hopefully that will prove true over time. With the Samsonite name at such a reasonable price, we are pleased so far."

"Not the best designed suitcase I've had but it seems durable. The straps on the inside are poorly designed. When the suitcase stands up, the clothes will fall to the bottom of the case because of the straps."

"It is relatively light considering its big size, it looks bigger than others 21' luggage but it fit to the cabin in planes. So it really has big storage room! However the hand lever seems very narrow and fragile, I am always worrying if it will break. Another problem is it lean back a little, not upright, or maybe it is designed like this way? Anyway it stands ok, doesn't fall down. And since it has a 10 year warranty, I feel much better."
