"So far, so good. I got this bag to replace my Heys Athena suitcase that served me well for many years of hard touring but unfortunately can't be purchased individually any longer. If it last half as long as that bag did Ill be satisfied."

"This is a generally decent bag. Better than the last large hard-sided bag that I had, which had a zipper that lasted about 4 years. I mostly only use this bag is traveling with my son, so that I can put both of our gear in one suitcase. This bag will hold everything for a week trip for a family of three, but it will be quite heavy at that point. The bag is a little too big, 1 inch narrower and shallower and 2 inches shorter would make it a bit easier to move around and lift into taxis. I have never yet had it 100 full. While the bag is rather light when empty, I've hit 60 lbs at about 80 full with some work files and books in addition to clothing and shoes. I bought it because it had latches rather than a zipper, and I would do the same again. In 4 or 5 trips it has become scuffed, but not damaged. If you are small or weak, you don't want this bag."
