"Sturdy and roomy. But its not as hard as the samsonite oyster my parents used to have. I thought it was rectangular in shape, the bottom was slightly wider than the top. I would have liked it to have more cloth pockets inside the luggage to store loose objects. Everything considered, this is still a very good buy!"

"Bought this in the teal color for my girlfriend, to share on trips together, and for my business travel when I need to be away for a while or bring equipment for work with me. Construction is of the 'flexible hard side' type, ie it's not rigid, the sides flex, but structurally it's still stiff. Good seal around the edge, kept rain out nicely. Wheels are better than expected for the price, as is the handle. I don't think it will last decades, but it has not been injured in about 5 air trips. Color is great for easy spotting at baggage claim. Inside the organization is minimal, just a divider/mesh pouch for the top. This is good for our uses, and allows me to easily pack mixtures of clothes, equipment etc. Being hard sided, it also aids in avoiding bed bugs, and can be hosed out when you return from somewhere sandy!"

"I purchased this bag for my trip to Europe - Sweden and Italy. Love, Love, LOVE this piece of luggage. We have older hard case Samsonite and it really takes a beating in baggage when traveling across seas. The little bit extra we paid for the four wheels (spinner) was a hugh life saver on this trip. Totally stuffed this Samsonite to the full max weight from the airline and it held up great. Rolled like it was on ice. I was so impressed that I am buying another one and my mother-in-law wants one as well."

"I am very pleased with the Smsonite Flite Spinner 31. I am a bicycle rider and my Daughter and her husband are stationed in Germany. I had to figure how I was going to get my bike to Germany. I bought a new bike (recumbent) that fit into a suitcase. The F31 was recomended. I Just got back from Germany last month. I am retired military so I fly military hops. I found that the suit case was very durable and easy to move around the airports. The fact that it has two handles makes it very convient. We get bumped off flight alot so we have to move our luggage alot. What a pleasure it is with the F31, unlike the old luggage I have. I would highly recommend this suitcase."

"I received this luggage damaged. It came with one of the locks broken. I returned (no-hassle, which is always great with e-bags), but the fact that the lock broke during shipping (being inside a plastic wrap plus cardboard box, was an indicative that it would easily break during travels. I was very disappointed that this hard case Samsonite didn't resist to the shipping from store to my home. Apart from that, the color was beautiful and the hard case seemed very sturdy."

"The bag is awkwardly shaped. If you're looking for a 31" bag, the Bag's organization limits the amount of useable space. I expected a huge bag, so I was a little dissapointed."

"I fly about 50,000 miles a year and this bag is great. The only problem is that it is so large that I pack more than the 50lb limit sometimes. Wheels work like new, latches still close tightly."

"It does the job, but it is "cheaply made" and looks like it could fall apart. The plastic is very thin, but at least it has multiple latches. Frankly, I could have done much better for about half the price. Proves that you should LOOK at the items BEFORE you purchase them, instead of blindly buying because it is a brand name. I expected more from Samsonite; I bought this brand expecting a quality case and what I got was a cheap Chinese made product (which you can buy in Shanghai for $20 or less)."

"Bag seems sturdy and durable. My only issue with this bag is the lack of internal pockets to pack smaller items. Overall satisfied with product."
