"Seems a solid Samsonite product so far...I have owned quite a few over the years. Still early yet to have a real idea of durability, but everything remains intact so far after 8-10 trips around the USA by air."

"Very disappointed with this bag. The handle broke on my third trip using the bag. The bag was never over weight. It's a very poor design for the top side of the bag handle: rivets and decorative covers bare the weight together and are plastic. Even though Samsonite supposedly covers damages due to design I'd have to drive 30 miles to the nearest repair center for them to determine if the bag is covered under warranty plus they charge a $10 collection fee. Of course, the problem with buying anything online is you can't 'kick the tires' to check for design flaws like the one this item has. Look for a bag with reinforced rivets that have an extra sewn fabric cover."

"I just received this item a few days ago and have not had a chance to us it as of yet. This matches the widebody carryon I purchase a few months ago. I am very happy with that purchase and will be with this one. Overall, I like the way Samsonite constructed the bag and I expecially like the wheels. Wheels are everything when purchasing a bag."

"Moves well, especially on surfaces other than carpet. Does okay on carpet but the heavier it is, the more force it takes to move. On tile or wood weight does not matter. Like the elastic clip system. The cloths bag zipper does not separate which is nice but folding it over to put in bag is not as easy,clean as my other suitcase. Front (outside)top pocket is a little shallow. Have not used this bag for airline travel yet so I am not sure how much it will hold and weigh. I bought this bag since developing a chronic back issue and at times I travel alone and needed a bag I could easily handle. Overall I am very pleased with the bag."

"The first time I used the bag, when I retrieved it at baggage claim, there was a 6" rip in the center of the outside pocket. I wasn't pleased and since I ended up traveling on 2 different airlines and neither would take responsibility, I'm stuck with a brand new bag with a 6" rip in it. To say I am frustrated and disappointed is an understatement."

"Love this bag! Already had the 21" carry on and loved it so much we decided to get the larger one for big trips. Used both on a trip to Turkey and was able to pack much more than I needed and still had room for the treasures I bought while away. The spinners are amazing and you'll never want to use any other type. This bag is sturdy and easy to use, even when you have to carry it (subway stairs). Would recommend highly."

"Used this bag for the first time on a trip to Florida to visit my folks. Packed it pretty full, did not go over the 50-lb. weight limit but had back pain for weeks when I got home. It was very awkward, getting it in and out of the trunk of the rental car; I found it difficult to grasp the side handles, which are fabric and flush with the case (maybe they'll loosen with time) and the case is just a bit large for my 5' frame. Other than that, I'm pleased with it---very good quality, and I hope to have it for many years to come. Guess I'll have to do some strength training before I use it again!"

"Really like the suitcase. I do wish it was only 24"; when you pack the case full you're over the 50 lb weight limit for most airlines and trains."
