"This is an umbrella that I have had for years!!! Its very durable and you dont need to worry about it giving under extreme wind nor getting soaked (its very water resistant). The auto open/close feature makes it easy to do when your hands are full as well as keeps your hands/clothes dry."

"I love the square shape of this umbrella. Coverage is much better than a round one, especially if you are covering someone else besides yourself. Gel handle takes a little to get used to but not a big deal and you'll like it once you do. I live in San Francisco so it only rains for a few months at the most therefore I do not use it all year round. I only used this umbrella maybe a dozen times before it broke. It seems to be constructed very well but one of the ties that secure part of the umbrella to the frame broke. Not a big deal I fixed it. Just before the tie broke the catch would no longer keep the umbrella closed. Then the metal catch that holds it closed fell out of the handle completely. I figured I now needed to use the warranty. And that is biggest problem I have is with Shedrain. I followed the warranty instructions and sent an email. Never heard back. Sent another and never heard from them. So their customer service and so called lifetime warranty is worthless. I am now looking to buy another umbrella but am looking for something other than Shedrain. To me customer service or the lack of it tell me a lot about a company."

"This is the second best umbrella I've ever owned. The best had automatic open/close with a reflective border for safety on rainy dark days while crossing streets. I love the enormous size of it. I love the unique shape of it which makes it an eye catcher. The open vents make it manageable in the wind and it is also sturdy enough to stand up to gales without being too heavy. This is a wonderful umbrella. I hope they continue to make it and perhaps improve it with the aforementioned features so I may purchase them as gifts. It is slightly difficult to get it into and out of my car quickly because of the length, but I would not change that because the size protects me from the rain very well which is why I use an umbrella."

"This is a very neat looking umbrella. I bought the green and blue one. I don't get to use it very often, but when I have I've gotten a few compliments on it. Some even asked where I got it. You don't see these anywhere. It's pretty sturdy, although I had to get used to the gel handle. This doesn't fold into a compact umbrella so don't get it if that's what you're looking for."
