"This bag was purchased to replace a duffel bag. I needed something big enough to carry sparring gear, clothes and all the other stuff you'd take with you to the gym. After 2 months of use (used the pack 4-5 times a week, taken on public transit.),the left side connection point where the shoulder strap connects to the lower part of the pack tore clean off. The biggest downfall of this pack is the entire shoulder strap system. Placement of the straps need to be lowered as the pack is 2 feet tall and doesn't sit properly on my back, making wearing the pack uncomfortable (I'm 6ft) even with the waistbelt, making the waistbelt useless. The connection points need to be re-designed and reinforced. The ability to detach the shoulder straps and tuck them into the rear panel of the pack needs to be removed."

"It's bag is great and durable. I wish the main compartment zipper extended further towards the bottom of the bag making it easier to pack. It is large and might not work as a cary on if you stuff it full. Great looking and a good value."

"I carried this same bag in Iraq for a year and a half and also offshore during the Gulf oil spill for 7 months. I was so impressed by it's practicality, organization and performance that I bought one for my 21 yr old son who is also a medic. It makes a great backpack, bugout bag, or travel bag for security contractor types, or those working in remote areas. I am a remote medic by trade and would recommend this bag for anyone in a similar trade."

"This is the second SOC backpack I have purchased. I love this one as good or better than the first. I love the exterior pockets. The expandable main pocket lets you get everything you need for a long trip into the pack. My only complaint with this pack is that the waist band does not tuck into the back pad like previous versions. I had to completely take the waist band off to ensure it didn't get torn up by baggage handling. Short of that, this is an awesome pack."

"Haven't had a chance to use it yet (It's my bugout bag). But the design and material are excellent. I'm sure that it will hold up well. Forrest, Retired Marine"

"Great bag for railroad workers. It has plenty of pockets to organize and is big enough to hold all of my rule books and clothes for several days."

"Good bag for going through the airport. I hate bags with wheels. This bag has as much or more room than standard carry on bags. Lots of great compartments for organizing items."

"Pros: Its a VERY roomy bag. Molle attachments a plus! 3 decent size compartments and one giant compartments. Hydration compatible. Cons: Lots of confusing interior straps. Although I need to figure it out. No fault of the bag. The cordura could be alot stronger. But for the size and prize it can't be beat!"
