"I bought this item because the airlines changed how they charge for skis. I've used the double Sportubes for years when the family has traveled on ski vacations; but the airlines have counted the double tubes as 1 pair of skis so only 1 boot bag could be checked with the double Sportubes. The single Sportube is everything I expected from Sportube."
