"I had purchased my Sportube years ago, and it came with two closure-devices (not locks) that worked well enough. The problem is, the closure/lock is an integral part of the design (the two slots that it goes thru line-up to keep the tube closed, but it's too wide for a regular lock), and the last time I traveled (prior to purchasing this TSA lock), I found that my Tube had been inspected by the TSA after it almost fall apart when I claimed it! They had neglected to replace the device, and so nothing was holding the Sportube together--I could have lost my skis and everything else in the tube! So, this TSA Combination Lock--designed for the Sportube--worked perfectly!! It fits, is durable, and the TSA can open it and (hopefully) replace it when they're done. (BTW, I put a notice on the tube near the lock politely reminding them to replace it, or it will fall apart--so far, so good!)."
