"This is an excellent case. It is one of the only ones that actually covers all the edges and corners of the IPad. I also like that it has the tab closure that holds under any circumstance. I tried another case before I got this one. It had a magnetic tab closure but the magnet was not strong and if you held the IPad face down, the cover flopped open. It now sits in a drawer unused. The tab on the Skinny 3 holds the cover in the various viewing positions very well also. I have no complaints about this case at all and I plan on buying another one in another color. This case has held up very well for 6 months so far. I am careful with my things and I can see this case lasting a good long time."

"I like the overall protection it provides my new iPad while not taking a lot of space. It keeps my iPad very slim. A couple of things that I don't like are 1) that I dropped some kind of fluid on the top and there's a mark that I'm not sure how to get rid of and 2) the edges are starting to fray a little and I'm not using it in a way that should cause that to happen."

"Not bulky but still protective on all sides. Lightweight and looks nice. The material is fraying a bit on the outside, and did so fairly quickly. It's my only complaint, but still really love it."

"I've had this for over a year and I've dropped my iPad at least 3 times with no problems. The case looks good but somewhat worn but I take it everywhere. Recently the magnetic shut off has stopped working. Because they are on sale with free shipping I'm going to replace mine just so it looks nicer again. It's a rugged cover for the cost. If you want a forever pretty cover look else where. I give it 5 stars for protection and easy to hold due to its texture surface."

"Do not hesitate when buying an STM Bags product. No problems with eBags, but due to a polarity issue in the new iPad, the magnet was reversed and did not automatically shut on and off when opening and closing. STM is fixing this with all new products for iPad, but has a few incorrectly magnetized models around. I personally do not faul eBags, STM Bags, or Apple for this--it's just one of those things. Anyway, I dealt with STM Bags directly and got a replacement for my case within 1 week of initial delvery. Therefore, I'm 100 satisfied."

"It is good value for money but not elegant. The logo is too obtrusive and detracts from appearance. The tab and holding loop can be difficult to use and could be improved with velcro."

"I had a smart cover & protective back, before. This is like having both, but the cover doesn't keep detaching, and I like the wrap around latch & stand feature. I got the blue one and I love that color."

"This iPad folio is the closest I've found to the design of the original iPad folio that Apple made. It's definitely better than Apple's ill-named SmartCovers. The biggest problem I've encountered is that every time I close it, I have to insert the closure tab into its slot, and in so doing, the iPad sleeps, wakes, and sleeps in quick succession. I also suspect that the slot into which the closure tab is inserted will quickly wear out. I've had it less than a month, and I'm already planning to seek a replacement. My Apple Folio case for my first iPad is still going strong after 2 years."
