Three things to know: the two fans are very quiet so there's no distraction; the platform is angled nicely for working; and the Mat holds a laptop without it sliding around."

"This item is perfect for our family because we have Dell laptops, where the fans are located on the bottom. I purchased one for myself in 2010, and love it because it does exactly what it needs to -it saves my laptop from overheating. I'm so happy with it that I decided my partner would like to have one for Christmas this year, instead of continuing to use a book to prop the laptop up so it could breathe. He loves it too!"
