"The Base Camp Duffel is awesome! I use this to haul all my climbing and mountaineering gear around. It's super burly and can withstand lots of abuse. The straps are great for carrying and the daisy chain on the sides are great for cinching loads down securely atop a car or a mule. I've used the XL for international airline travel. It is technically too big for domestic airline travel (without paying oversize fees) so I usually use 2 Large's or 1 Large and 1 backpack for domestic travel. Great bags, expect them to last me many years."

"Had one of these bags for over 12 years and despite over-stuffing it and dragging it around the world it is still in amazingly good shape. Best features? Durability and lightness, the bag weighs virtually nothing which means more of your 50lbs baggage allowance can be used on gear. Bought another one due to growing family......"

"I bought this for my college-age son to come back and forth from school by plane. He's very into the great outdoors and is planning to work as a guide so he needs something sturdy which will hold all his gear and clothing for a summer job. This was wonderful."
