"I purchased these backpacks for our male photojournalists, who use these bags on a daily basis, transporting their 15" laptops, chargers and some camera equipment inside. I've purchased a total of 10 NorthFace Surge black backpacks since 2007. So far, I've only had to replace 1 well-worn backpack with busted zippers; but given the abuse they've gotten, these backpacks are quite durable. Your price is also lower than the rest (amazon, zappos, etc.)"

"A grea backpack for students. Very sturdy and adaptable. I have plenty of room and protection for my Chromebook and IPad and enough room for books, personal stuff and notebooks. This pack could easily serve as both a weekend suitcase or overnight hiking pack."

"I've had 2 North Face backpacks since about 1999. They have been great, but I didn't just want to get another North Face this time. I wanted to branch out and try something new. So, I scoured the internet and poured over research trying to find the best backpack that can hold a laptop, looks nice, is weather resistant, and still sporty enough for me to use just on casual weekend trips. After all my research, what did I come to find? That the North Face Surge II is basically the best backpack in the category I was looking for. It has been phenomenal. This is the best North Face I have ever owned. Sooooo comfortable and perfect spot for my laptop. I can not imagine a way to make a bag more suited for what I need or better looking."
