"It needs slash or some kind of storage pockets on the sides. Also, I'm having trouble getting it to fit properly. When I use the hip belt, it sags away from the top of my back. I've shortened the straps at the top of the main shoulder straps as much as possible in effort to pull the load closer to my back. I took the back board out thinking the back of the pack would conform to the shape of my back better. I haven't used it enough that way to see if it works. I like the color and the fabric very much. It's the right size for a winter day's hike where you need extra clothes and gear. Maybe I need a different sized pack. When I use the hip belt, the pack rides high and, as I said earlier, falls away from the top of my back at the shoulders."

"Comfortable and a perfect size for a day hike. Very durable construction, and great looking design. It is basically the same design and offers the same features as the bigger terra 45 but does lack the full length side zipper to access the contents of the bag. You are limited to the top and bottom access only, but the pack is small enough where this doesn't matter as much. I own the 45 and 35 and both are amazing packs. It is a Northface; enough said."
