"This backpack is absolutely wonderful for students seeking an efficient and lightweight backpack with maximum support guaranteed. I have been using this backpack daily for almost a year now and have no complaints whatsoever. Both interior and exterior design are great; it is comfortable while standing and walking for long periods of time; and I can easily fit a 3 inch binder, a notebook, and my laptop in with room for a book. People constantly ask me whether or not there is even anything in my backpack--it is super compact! Having tried several brand name backpacks before, this is my #1 recommendation. I love this backpack, and you will too! If in doubt, choose the Borealis. :)"

"This is the ideal backpack for students or travelers. It's designed to carry a laptop and has lots of pockets to keep smartphone, pens, etc. neatly organized and accessible. The quality is excellent - well made, durable fabric, nice details. I use it as a pack for day hikes and it's acceptable for hiking (it has side mesh pockets for water bottles and the laptop sleeve can be used to carry a hydration bladder) so it works, but its probably not the best choice if you're looking for a hiking specific pack. Unless of course you hike with your laptop. Then its perfect."

"Got this for my daughter who is a full time college student. She carries her small laptop, wallet, books, notebooks, cell phone, pens, etc. She loves it. Weight is distributed well with good padding on the straps. Very well made with good organization. The colors are beautiful. Glad I spent the money and got a good backpack rather then buying one each year! Would strongly recommend."

I had a North Face backpack all throughout high school, and since it had lasted those four years, I knew I wanted to go back to the North Face brand for it's durability. "Bought this for my 17 year old Step Daughter that is in the High School College program & is taking college classes at our community college now instead of going to high school. She needed a backpack that could handle a few large books & her new 14.1" Samsung laptop. So far this is working well fom her after about a week. I wanted her to get one of the ebags branded ones, but she wanted a brand name that would be recognized. I have an ebags brand backpack that has held up extremely well over the last 3 years of constant use. I hope this North Face bag hold up as well as they are pricy!"
