"I work full-time and go to school part-time and I was struggling between buying the Medium bag or the Small bag and I bought the Medium bag and it is perfect for my needs! I can fit a (large) textbook, with my stuff for work, and my lunch... there is lots of space. I really like the little pockets for storage, they are very useful. The shoulder strap is nice and comfortable. Overall, a great bag."

"Nice size, will hold all you want to carry. Looks great and is constructed very well. I would highly recommend this item. My only negatives are that the padded strap is a bit slippery and will drop from your shoulder if not carried across your body. Would like it to have a carry handle on top of the flap, to be able to carry briefcase style when needed; in and out of a car or bus, etc., quick grab close to the bag."

"This bag is extremely well built, and very attractive. There are just about infinite pockets on the inside for storage, as well as four more on the outside. I carry four large textbooks, a large notebook, and an organizer with me every day and it fits all of them very well. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase, and I'm sure that I'll be buying from Timbuk2 again."

"At age 14 I have had each one of my kids pick out a "forever bag" The older one picked out a thenorthface backpack that is still serving him at the age of 21. The younger one with a totally different personality wanted a messenger bag. I insisted on a timbuk2 for durability. He loves it, no complaints. This bag is now enjoying daily rough and tumble life at a middle school. I think that it will span the next few years nicely. I am confident that it will NOT wear out. It is built TOUGH. It is money well spent."

"Bought this bag to use as a gym bag going on six months ago. Absolute perfect fit. Has individual pockets to store your lock, wallet, keys and a lanyard for attaching your gym swipe card. Plenty of storage with a divider in the main section. I use the back portion to store a book and toiletries and the larger front section for my change of clothes. The medium bag size is perfect with room to spare. The bag looks as rugged at it is."
