Travelon 12V Dual USB Charger 

"Read one review that the item is too short to really work properly with the 12V cig. lighter outlet, that's not encouraging me try it for myself. I really need to get a similar item asap but.... Will have to look around."

"I cannot speak to its electronic abilities because it was impossible to use. To me it was a perfect electronic design...to have TWO 2.1 outlets instead of one so that I wouldn't have to figure out which one to plug my iPad into. I can only guess that the manufacturer was trying to save money on plastic because it is the shortest anything that I have ever seen that was made to plug into a cigarette lighter plug/power port. It has a flange on the USB end that would work nicely as a grip point to remove the device...if it were long enough and extended at minimum a finger's width beyond the power port's bezel. However, the flange bottoms out on the bezel, preventing electrical contact inside the power port. I have seen a couple really shallow power ports, but 99 percent of all that I've run into would never allow for this charger to work. Sadly, I must send it back."
