"I was a little concerned when I bought this bag that it might be too thin and might split at the seams with continued use or too much weight. BUT I have been pleasantly surprised! Because it packs down to the size of a small book, I can pack it in my purse and have it ready to go in case we need it. And since it's so light, it has become my bag of choice on short hiking/walking trips. We stuff it pretty full and still have room left over. It has held the weight (water is pretty heavy at the start of the trail) really well and even comfortably since the shoulder straps are nice and wide. I also took it to the beach and machine washed it when we got home (gentle cycle, then hung it to dry). It washed perfectly! It has been a very sturdy, handy and useful bag."
