"This bag is designed to be very light. It is, indeed, very light. I measured it at 7.6 pounds when empty. It is a simple case that has no special organization inside. It seems to be durable enough. Other bags would hold up better under rough use; but they are much heavier. I purchased it for a tour to a country that only allows forty-four pounds of luggage on flights. Not an easy task!"

"First of all I love TravelPro. Their luggage is durable, well thought out with a wonderful warrantee. I bought this model because it is super light, and there are rigid weight restrictions on international flights. I bought two and convinced my sister (who lives in Israel) to order one as well. We will bring it on our next trip. Can't wait to see how much more I can bring the next time !"
