"I fly internationally on a regular basis, so I recognize the importance of good luggage. I have worked with a number of people who have cheapo luggage, which works fine if all you're doing is putting it in the trunk of the car to drive somewhere, but the bag barely survives a single international flight! Sustained contact with baggage handlers requires something substantial, such as a Travelpro Platinum. I own several Travelpros. I bought this particular one to replace a Travelpro Crew that was about 10 years old and had sustained some damage over 200,000 air miles (we still use it for local car travel, or even domestic, but not for international flights). This item fits in the overheads, and works well hooked with the other Travelpro luggage. I also like the warranty on the Platinums, although I've never had occasion to use it."

"I purchased this bag to replace a 22" Samsonite. I travel weekly for business and I selected the Platinum series due to the superior warranty it delivers. My main concern was whether a 20" bag would be sufficient for a 4 day travel week. I found out that this bag fits this purpose very well and easily accommodates a 4 day travel schedule for business casual. The extended handle fits well for my height. The quality of the construction is great. I would recommend this bag for business travelers. My only advice would be to select the correct size from the platinum series depending on the purpose of your travel."
