"I was very disappointed with this bag. The interior space ends up being REALLY small due to a number of reasons. 1) The retractable handle takes up a lot of space. 2) The bag narrows from bottom to top, and the rounded top takes away even more space. 3) The front laptop compartment also takes away from the depth of the main packing space. 4) The top liquid compartment takes away space from the interior and has some kind of padding, so even if you don't use it, it still takes up space. I didn't really care for the laptop compartment, and the bag actually stands closer to 23" tall, which means that you won't be able to slide it straight into many overhead compartments (need to slide it in sideways, which may not be possible on a packed flight). The compression straps on the outside are also completely useless. They attach to the expansion just under the opening zipper and not to the top of the bag, so it doesn't actually protect the zipper from busting if you've overpacked the bag. While I appreciate the bottom handle, it lacks a handle on the side, which would make it easier to carry up stairs. Otherwise, it does seem durable and the outside attachments (water bottle pocket, carabiner, and daisy chain webbing) are kind of nifty. Ultimately, with the small interior space and almost 23" height, this bag doesn't meet my needs."

"When the bag arrived I was initially pleased based on visual appearance. Plenty of zippered storage. But then when I went to use it for the first time, I became a little less satisfied. The handle rails take up a lot of room inside the bag, this is not evident in the pictures posted. Also, the slight curve at the top of the bag, along with the outside top zippered compartment take away a little more space inside the bag. My intention with this bag was to extend it and use it as my sole bag during an upcoming 9 day trip to Austria (I know how to pack light), but I am doubtful I will be able to do this as the main compartment of the bag is smaller than represented. Don't get me wrong, it is a great overnight bag, good for a 2-3 day business trip or a weekend getaway and I will continue to use mine for such. But I will be doing some shopping around for another bag that meets the airlines overhead bin criteria while still allowing me to pack for 4-5 days at a time."

"I travel to a remote mine in Alaska twice a month. This bag is both durable and functional, speeding my way through security and holding up to some pretty harsh and unusual travel conditions. I am very happy with the bag."

"Met expectations. I took this on a 12-day trip to Europe that involved lots of switching between trains, buses, planes, etc. Easy to move around, compact but still fit all my stuff. I felt quite pleased that I had the smallest, most maneuverable bag in the group. It's also very visible in the blue, but not obnoxious."

"Just came back from a 2 week vacation in England; I was able to get enough clothes, including a raincoat, shoes, makeup etc for the trip in the bag and have room to bring home some small souvenirs. I did not need the 2" expansion. The pockets made it easy to organize so that I knew where everything was. One of the tie downs was ripped off during baggage handling-not covered by the warrantee. I did not think I could travel for 2 weeks with this small of a bag - amazing!"

"Husband loves the bag, it fits his oversized 17" Dell laptop and size 14 shoes. What's not to love. And even a place to keep his can of pepsi cool while he travels. It's a dynamite bag."

"This luggage is very light, and for a small person (under 100 lbs) it makes all the difference when it comes to lifting the bag into the overhead compartments on airplanes. Besides the light weight, I love all of the compartments in this bag. It has a very neat waterproof compartment on the top, which is very convenient to store your drink and snacks. I found the long zip compartments on each side of the bag very useful for longer objects. The handle escalates and retracts very easily, and the bag's wheels make it very easy to roll. I like that the handle has a zip cover, so that it does not get caught on anything when you are not using it. This bag seems to be very durable, I love the color (got the funky green one), and it has an adventurous, outdoor vibe. It is my new favorite piece of luggage. I have been a huge fan of Travelpro for over 20 years because the bags are well built and seem to last forever. I have had six Travelpro suitcases and none of them have ever broken. I highly recommend it."

"My favorite feature turns out to be the top "beverage/food" pocket - it is GREAT for stashing the quart-size bag of liquids because it's easy to get to it at screening and to tuck it back in when done. Exterior pockets are large and useful; the larger one can be locked (loops on the zipper). The interior of the bag seems a bit small compared to a similar carry-on I previously owned, but the soft sides and expandability make it adaptable to varying sized loads. The interior lid pockets have also been useful for stashing small items that I want to be able to find easily. I like the front loop handle - very easy to grab from a gate-check cart or when carrying the bag up stairs. Oddly, though, there is no side handle, which would have been helpful. The collapsible handle tends to stick a bit when descending, and I am a bit concerned that it won't last. Otherwise, a well-made and well-designed bag. I've taken it on several trips and it fits well in the overhead except on regional jets, and rolls really well."

"This is an excellent bag, with one "but..." I have found it difficult, at times, to fit the bag into the slightly smaller overhead bins, with the bag being just too high for some."

"I bought this because I heard good things about TravelPro and it met my expectations. Easy to zip, lots of storage space, rolls nicely. And I love the style, not a boring black bag that looks like everyone elses."
