"Great carry-on bag! Well-designed and laid out, light, and the PERFECT size for overhead compartments (any smaller would give up space, any larger wouldn't fit). Perfect fit! It has a lot more carrying space than other comparable bags I've tried. I do worry that the wheels will be durable enough to hold up with months of day-to-day travel, but otherwise the Werks 4.0 has been just about perfect."

"After 6 months it's beginning to show wear in the expected places - at corners (along the rubberized piping), on the wheels, and on the backside where it's commonly tossed by requisite baggage handlers. All of the zippers, pockets, and the fabric in general, have held up really well. I bought primarily for the lifetime warranty. I expect given the wear I've observed to this point that I'll probably have this piece another 5-7 years. I travel at least two to three times per month."

"Replaced a durable bag destroyed by DL. Spent 2x what I spent on previous bag. 2 lbs lighter empty. Seems smaller to the naked eye, but packs at least as much as previous bag. Wheels are good. Twisting handgrip is good. Telescoping mechanism feels flimsy compared to previous two-column design. Wish it had an interior plastic compartment for last minute wet/dirty items (going to the beach then travel). Integrated base handle vey nice in the airplane."

"I've thoroughly enjoyed this bag with one very major exception. After using the bag for a month the telescoping handle fell off. I was reassured that my lifetime warranty would take care of the obvious material defect. Thus you can imagine my surprise when I learned that it would take a lifetime (5-6 weeks) to get my bag returned from the repair facility."

"Over the last seven years, I have been moving towards having only Werks Traveler luggage. The reason for this is the durability, ease of use, and style. This piece fits easily into the overhead bins and yet is roomy enough to allow for one-weeks worth of clothing."
