"I bought this for my kindergarden-age daughter and am thoroughly impressed by the quality. My daughter is not terribly rough on it, but the backpack still looks brand new after 6 months of use. There is no sign of wear and I would expect it to last for years (I bet she will outgrow the design before the bag wears out). The size is perfect. It easily holds her full-size school folders and the front pocket is great for miscellaneous items, including her mandatory spare clothes. The coordinating lunch bag fits perfectly as well. I would not want anything larger for her body size (tall and lean). I would strongly recommend this item and will definitely come back to this sight and brand for our next purchase."

"My daugher started kindergarten this year and not two weeks into the year, the hook strap came unsewn as did one of the shoulder straps. Kindergarteners don't carry a lot in thier bags, so this wasn't an issue of overstuffing the backpack. And while my child isn't any more rough then then next, the backpack shouldn't have fallen apart so quickly. While the mermaid print is super cute and the size is perfect for my smaller-sized child, the durability of this bag is very disappointing."

"Very cute. My daughter will be using this daily starting this week for kindergarten. Is the perfect size for her and she loves it. The only thing I would add to make this bag better is a mesh pocket on the outside to hold a water bottle. Otherwise very nice."

"My daughter picked out this backpack to start pre-k this year and it is still going strong. It has a cheery, cute design and has not gotten that "dirty" look some backpacks get after regular use. Would definitely recommend as a preschool - lower elementary school bag."
