"I purchased this backpack for my 5 year old for kindergarten and he loves the design. It fits him so well. Unfortunately the zipper has broken on 2 of them already and it's only been 3 months. Wildkin has gladly replaced them but I wish it was better quality as he doesn't have huge, heavy loads to carry. May need to find a different brand and really wish this had a better zipper and a water bottle carrier on the side."

"This is our second Wildkin backpack. The first one is in its second year of use, accompanying our daughter to 1st grade; this one goes with our son to pre-K. Great quality, holds up well, gets dragged around a lot. Great non-commercial patterns, both gendered and neutral. And great service from eBags. The first one arrived with a faulty zipper, and they sent a new one immediately and a free return shipping label for the one going back. We'll be back when kid #3 needs a backpack, and whenever these first two wear out!"

"Cute but poorly made. My 3 year old son picked this out as his very first backpack. He asked about it everyday until it arrived and was elated when it got here. However, after less than a week of light use, it developed a hole in the seam at the bottom. It was not being abused, but cherished! If he didn't love the darned thing so much I'd send it back. I have repaired the hole, but I would not recommend this brand and will not buy it again."
