Wildkin Spring Kaleidoscope Easy-Sleep Nap Mat 

"I purchased this for my toddler to use at daycare for his naps after seeing on our local news how most nap mats (especially ones found in preschools and daycares) are filled with toxic fire retardent chemicals (see link to article below). Wildkin used no toxic chemicals, but the mats are naturally fire-retardent due to the weave of materials. I opted to get the water-resistent one because I thought it was more sanitary, but the entire thing is machine washable. It is not as padded as the other naps mats they use at his school, but he appears to like it just fine! Naps on it no problem, according to his teachers. The only suggestions I have would be #1) Perhaps have it be a little more padded #2) The pillow that comes with it (it's removable) is SO stuffed - I felt it was unnatural for his little toddler head to have such a plumped-up pillow (he just needs a little padding for his head) so I had to take the pillow out, open it up a little on the seam and take out half the stuffing, then sew it back up - ok, I taped it back up! I got lazy!) AND, #3) I didn't realize the blanket is sewn on to the mat. My son used his own sheet and blanket, so it's fine but a nice option would be to have the blanket unsnap or something."
