"It's a great bag, fantastic condition, and an 'ohmygodawesome' deal. The only thing I wish it had is more pockets. Maybe a couple on the outside or so, or a zippered one on the inside. My full price $30 laptop case I had before had more pockets. But, it's doing it's job and has been holding up to all of my textbooks and binders plus my laptop and I haven't seen any rips or tears. All-in-all, it's a great product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Even if you're not using it for a laptop, it doubles nicely as a messenger bag."

"The William Rast Canvas Laptop Messenger was purchased as a gift for a college graduate last December. He was genuinely delighted and openly shared his surprise at how much he liked it. I am his aunt; and he is very difficult to buy for as he has unique and discriminating taste in his clothes and accessories. I can only hope he continues to be pleased with not only the look but the performance of this messenger bag."

"I love this bag. I just wish it had more pockets. I've got my important paperwork and folders in the laptop area and I put everything else in the other side of the bag, so I've just got 3 little pockets to throw miscellaneous things in. Other than that I've loved this bag!"

"I bought this for my husband for Christmas. I feel it's completely misrepresented in the description. It can not handle being carried daily. It ripped carrying only my husbands lap top!"

"Poorly built: the fasteners for the shoulder strap is very weak and causes the bag to tear on the sides without even overloading the bag. I carry a laptop and maybe a notebook every day and it tore within a few months."

"This is a great looking briefcase...that is totally unusable for my purposes. I wanted something that could keep my keys, wallet, and other small items that would normally end up in my pockets. Unfortunately, this briefcase was not designed with that functionality. I was always fishing around in the bag for keys, because the small interior pockets couldn't hold my keys, and there is no zippered pocket inside. I really tried to make this briefcase work, because it really is great to look at and durable, but alas, it just wasn't meant to be. I gave the bag to my teenage daughter, who had been coveting it since I bought it - yes, it looks so nice that your teenager will want to take it from you. If I didn't need the extra pockets, then I'm sure I would have been extremely happy with this briefcase. It holds a laptop and some files just fine. All in all, if you only use a briefcase to carry around files and maybe a laptop, then get this bag, but if like me, you want a bag that lets you carry nothing in your pockets, you'll have to keep looking."
