However, the outside pocket is the only place to carry the charger for my laptop, and could have been just slightly better designed. Theres not quite enough room for the charger in there. It bulks up the front flap of the bag too much for my taste. Otherwise, the bag is very protective of my stuff, and is very well made. It is mostly perfect for the things that I carry with me on a daily basis." |

"I really havent used it much yet. I got it with multiple uses in mind -- business and vacation travel, daily trips to work or a cafe. I had hoped it would replace my purse so I would be able to carry my netbook daily but it is not designed with enough flexibility in the pockets for different shaped items. There is not enough width for the items such as wallets, sunglasses, a make up case, and other 3 dimensional things.
Im adjusting my use expectations. I like the bag so I will be using it like a brief case to carry the netbook. I welcome suggestions on making it more more flexible and adaptable to my needs. Dale" |

"I bought this to serve as an every day bag to carry stuff I commonly need when I go out for a long time, particularly on weekends. I find myself needing to carry contact lens stuff, my glasses, along with a magazine or two, and sometimes DVDs or games to take to a buddys house. I have a nice laptop bag, but generally I dont need to take my laptop, so I purchased this smaller, more compact bag, to serve my every day needs.
It is great for that purpose. If you are using it for a laptop, the foam in the laptop compartment is VERY thick and protective. I cut the foam out myself, as I dont intend to carry a laptop in the bag. The result is less stiffness with more room, exactly what I was looking for.
The construction of the bag is excellent, and the materials are top notch. The finish is high quality, and, while not as professional looking as a leather bag, it could certainly do fine in many offices." |
