"I have two very heavy, large textbooks, a heavy three ring binder, a laptop, peripherals, wallet, cell and a bag of miscellaneous items that I cram into this everyday. After all this, there is a little room left in the main compartment for tall, narrow travel mug/water bottle/thermos. I could squeeze in a third text book if necessary but it would be tight and heavy. As it is, fully loaded, the bag is HEAVY (even my very fit 6ft2in husband agrees that it is heavy). But the wheels work great and it is holding up well (one month of hard core daily use). It repels light rain but in a downpour, the fabric does get damp. However, water has not soaked through to the interior. I have the red, which is a nice vibrant color. I am pleasantly surprised with this bag. My only complaint is it is difficult to fit in my lunch bag when I have everything else in it but I sling it over the handle as an acceptable solution. I think it would also be great for airplane travel." |

"I bought this bag to use while traveling oversea with my toddler. I wanted to have only one bag where I can use as a roller one or a backpack to free my hands so I can hold my son when needed. This bag is well designed for that. It looks great and seems durable. However its too heavy by its own. I can pack only a few thing to be able to meet the weight limit of carry-on baggage (excluding the laptop inside the bag). And when I have a small SLR camera, a laptop and some other stuff packed, it will be too heavy to be a backpack. And I couldnt even put it up to the overhead compartment on the airplane." |
