"I was having a problem getting the correct size bag, because all fanny packs or waist packs are calling themselves lumbar packs now.
At one time I would do a search for lumbar pack, and find exactly what I wanted. Not anymore...
Thankfully, Northface is still making the size bag I prefer. I like to carry my wallet, eyeglass case, cellphone, etc., in my bag, and still have room for a paperback book for my commute! This does the trick..." |

"The Roo is very ergonomic and holds quite a lot of stuff. I bicycle everywhere in my daily life and have the Roo either in my panniers or around my waist. I compared many fanny packs at the local REI and sports stores before settling on the Roo. I am on my third Roo. Only issue is that it always wears out after a year or so of heavy daily use about 1/2 way on the small zipper track. Cloth rips there consistently, thus one cannot use that zipper any longer. I return them to North Face for replacement under warranty. However, I am a heavy user of this bag. For others, who dont use the zippers constantly, I suspect the Roo will last far longer. It comes in several colors, so be sure to visit the North Face web site before ordering." |
